There's one in Toronto which I could attend (I'm in eastern Ontario). Is it worth the money?

I have not, but I have taken the sample LSAT (LSAC). Have you tried it? After taking the first section I understood how to take this test. I missed 4 or 5 on the first section (26 questions) but aced parts 2 & 3. It really is deduction, and common sense. I see your questions...try it, you'll do great. You may not need the course.

I'm not sure what's offered in Toronto but if you have the option of taking the Princeton Review LSAT course, I'd take that one instead. I can personally attest to the methods, though it's a bit on the costly side, and I raised my score 11 points. I've heard only bad, bad things about the Kaplan one.

I think that, with any course, the most important thing is doing the homework they assign and accepting the methods. Abandon your habits and try theirs, really try. If they don't work after a few months, then start rethinking just blindly taking the methods, but before that, at least give them a chance. Most courses are effective merely by their virtue of making you practice, building your test taking stamina, and making you feel more confident on the test day. As for that particular course though, I can't say.
