myspace - YES
digg - NO

Myspace sells advertising on the pages.

Digg is not in a profit mode as of yet, they get their money from invetsers that are betting the company in the future will be worth a great deal of money (hundreds of millions or billions$$$)and they can sell it and reap big profits. Lookin' good so far.

Advertisements. They get paid everytime you click an add. Considering there are 115 million myspace. Usually its a penny a click, if they buy something it usually more. Considering if 10 million peeps click on one add a day thats some serious change :)
