In agreement w/GreyRainbow, you cannot compare beauty btwn a living person & a person who had since died. Aaliyah WAS a very beautiful, talented young woman who WOULD OF HAD a "blown-up" career in the entertainment industry like what Miss Beyonce' NOW has! Ashanti IS a cute talented young woman who somewhat is not out there that much now. I believe what she needs is a better management team which includes a very good PR person to get herself MORE "out there" so to speak. If you have had your question as "If Aaliyah was still alive, who would you choose as to who is more beautiful--Aaliyah or Ashanti? I definitely would have chosen AaLIYAH!!!

I say Aaliyah, she would be beautiful with or without makeup, Ashanti she has to be made up in order to be beautiful.

Ashanti has the cutest face but overall Aaliyah was more beautiful. She was sweet and talented, which Ashanti lacks and makes Britney Spears sound like Aretha Franklin.

I'm gay, but Aaliyah was absolutely gorgeous. There's another girl out there now trying to act/sing/dance like Aaliyah, but Aaliyah cannot be duplicated. Aaliyah was just sexy for no reason! In fact my favorite 2 blacks chicks have died, Aaliyah and Left Eye. Yummy girls. RIP chicas!
