Please dont be Mean , or rude , I just need a little advice. I have been with the same guy for 6 years , we planned a wedding for 2007 , an He tells me the other day that , he no longer wants to marry me, but he wants to stay together. What gets me is it's been 6 years, will he ever be ready to marry me ever????

Maybe he is just afraid of that big of a commitment. Let him know how much you love him, but you need a commitment from him. There are some benefits to marriage - tax benefits, insurance benefits -

If I was you I wouldn't wait. Six years is more than enough time. If he still doesn't want to marry then he might never. What it all comes down to is I feel that the man you should marry is the one who couldn't wait to ask you and become your husband, not the one you had to beg and give ultimatums to.

probably not...why would you want to stay with someone who calls off the wedding at this point? If he doesn't want to marry you what does he want...to have his cake and eat it too? I would tell him that you either get married or move on....good luck

I f he is not ready, then tell him you aren't ready to stay with a man who can't commit fully to you.....I mean really, SIX YEARS??? Its not like we are talking about six months or something!
