With the passing of President Ford, whats going thru Bush's head. How does he want to be remembered?

Some say, had President Gerald Ford (born Leslie Lynch King, Jr.) severed a whole term he would be remembered as a great president.

Upon their deaths, all presidents receive accolades that fall just short of cannonization. I'm not saying that President Ford does not deserve praise...but to your question, I think that Bush knows that upon his death - he too will be praised. Sad really. It seems that no one has the balls to tell it like it is. I'm hoping that someone grows some big ones, so that when its time for Bush to be eulogized, it will be an accurate statement about his single handed destruction of the reputation and respect of America throughout the rest of the world.

ford cared about doing the right thing for the country can't put a president in Jail. the best thing have him out of office. Bush and Clinton cared about their own presidency their own legacy. Ford did the right thing in my book he was something special.

I liked President Ford. He made a tough unpopular decision and it cost him the job, he did the right thing though. The right thing is not always the easy thing to do. President Bush is more concerned about doing the right thing than his legacy. Clinton only cared about his legacy but either did nothing, or the wrong thing. So If use the Presidents as my guide, I will always try to do the right thing.
