Your mom or your dad?

I am closer to my mom. She was the one that was always there growing up. dad was never there. he was all over the place working. when my parents split up I was about 10 and they gave me the choice where I wanted to live. Of course I chose my mom. I love my dad but he didn't and still doesn't know how to be a parent. I am now 32 and my mom has been there for me through everything. No matter what choices or decisions I make in my life, right or wrong, she is there standing by my side supporting me even when she may know better. She knows I have to make my own choices and find out stuff for myself. She's been my best friend and I couldn't ask for a better one.

My dad, we talk all the time, my mom only calls a couple times a year.

by around do u mean alive or living with? but both my parents are alive but i dont live wit my mom and i am closer 2 my father. but thats not cuz my mother isnt around cuz my brother is closer 2 my mother

My Mom, we have more time to spend together
since she is retired & my Dad still works , but I do get
along well w/ both of them
