What troubles have u had at airports?

Question

ever been on vacation and ur flite has been delayed? How long for?
luggage get lost? family member get lost? rude staff? overflowin loos? lol ever get sent back home? ever retaliated?

and DETAILS ppl! like when it happend and why and how it get solved and how u were feelin?

on youtube i saw this video by a brazilian student guy who's frends and family (ppl he knew) had a load of trouble while coming to the uk! :o

has ur luggage been emptied? and have u had to display ur personal belongings?

I was in NY when 9/11 happened. They cancelled my flight and I had to spend 28 hours in the airport. They had the air con on full blast, they made announcements every 2 minutes and I had no money for food. It was awful. When I was going through security they also decided to empty all my belongings out of my very carefully packed rucksack.

In 1988 I arrived at Miami airport for a 2 week stay.
Due to the fact that I'd been denied a Visa 3 years earlier (not due to any criminal activity,but my passport was stamped) I got dragged into a room with zillions of Cuban drug smugglers for a couple of hours until my interview came up and I was finally released.
I can tell you now,that adrenaline is brown...........
Frightening.

I had one flight cancelled from Romania to Milan-Italy. I had to wait 4h on high heels ( first time i had them on ) and my feet were painfull..horribly painful.
At the check-in 2 idiot guys were trying to find other flights for us...i had to travel with an other person on the same ticket, but that wasn't a problem because she happened to be a tecaher at the university where i study.

So, not a big deal...

I missed a flight because they changed the terminal location from the time I checked in until the time the flight left.

dumbest thing to happen ... I was escorting my underage kids to the terminal, due to one way tickets for them and no ticket for me, we're always pulled for a personal screen check, I carry only id and cell phone (no bags to make things simple and quick) I had worn sandals and shorts no socks or anything,... I had to remove my sandals and they still ran the hand held detector over my bare legs and bare feet ... thought it was odd but hey if that helps them fine, they can waste time on me and the 10 year old I'm trying to get on a plane.

All & more but as my holiday usually starts as soon as I close the door to my flat, I expect things to go wrong especially in the U.K & consider it to be part of the holiday fiasco to get to one`s chosen destination!

just a week ago ..i flight with LH from Frankfurt Germany to DFW . First they had a new price at the airport for the dogkennel (double price ). Then Lufthansa lost my dog twice ..one time in Frankfurt and one time in DFW .Also the broke one of my bags .

Rude stupid american customs staff at orlando. "what is your purpose in visiting Orlando?" - ITS A VACATION DESTINATION, DOUCHEBAGS
waiting in line for over 2 1/2 hours waiting to get of a flight at Dulles, because someone way up front of the line had the temerity to have a piece of fruit in their pocket.
american customs staff are specially picked to be as dense, humourless and rude as possible.
