Ok for new years eve I've got two partys I can go to. One is with my best mate with her mom and the other is this guy who I know likes me and I kinda like him too. I've asked my mate if she can come to his party but she says she don't know if she can get out of her party. Basically I don't know what one to go to. help anyone, please? Happy new Year

Anyway, go to the party you first committed to. Explain to the other you already made a commitment, but you would love to get with them on a later date.

go to his party first that way if you and dont hit it off straight away you have good reason to leave,,after all she is your best friend and he should understand your priorities with that one,,if it does go well you still have to go but it will be on a "i have to leave but i wish i could stay",,nothing bad said and you dont lose face with any of them,,im sure your mate will get it! two parties you animal lol

do u know anyone else at the boys party? if not I would stay with my friend at her party. if so go to your friends party for awhile then tell her you really would like to go meet this guy at his party, she should understand.

i think u should go to your friends house 1st and stay there for a while and end at that guys house cuz u would rather end the the night w/the guy and not your friend...i think your friend will understand if u leave her party!!

NEVER put a guy before your best friend. New Years' should be spent with someone that is a part of your life - not someone you "kinda" like. Give him a raincheck - if he likes you that much, he'll wait. Go with your friend.
