Clinton smoked weed
Bush did coke

Obama admitted in his book that he smoked marijuana and was a cokehead.

Does this send a message to young kids that it is ok to do drugs because you can still become the President?

I wish you would - you are comparing apples to oranges. Alcohol is not illegal when you are of age. Drugs are illegal no matter what age. Concrete? hahahahaha. Because your answer is so concrete.

so what? when I was in college I was a drunk party girl? so that means I can't get a job? There is no such thing as a pure, angelic politician who has never committed a sin. If you go on looking for a squeaky clean politician than you are better off shipping yourself to an island and start an your own country. Children don't do drugs cause they "hear" their president or politician doing it, its because of the peers around them. Sorry, but before you make an argument, make sure that it is concrete! :)

Bottom line, its not up to the President, its up to the Parent!

I do think that our politically correct society tells kids that things like drugs are fine, really, as how can we condemn ANY ONE for ANYTHING? The PC police would tell us that we just need to understand where they are coming from. We can't label anything right or wrong, for fear of offending anyone or hurting their feelings.

Therefore, everything anyone does needs to be acceptable to society even if it is repulsive like being a sex addict like President Clinton, or dangerous like taking drugs, as Presidents Clinton and Bush have both admitted to.

And people wonder why our young people have issues. You have to set standards for kids, you need to teach them right from wrong. Period.

I think it sends a message that if one chooses to, one can make the right decisions and correct one's path in life.
