Yea, I don't see why not. A couple times a week or so for a treat.
My oscars used to love feeder fish, like tiny gold fish or guppies. (my oscars were small.) It was definately entertaining to watch him go for the chase! Natural born hunters, Oscars are! Get you one or two, just to see what he does. If it turns out to be something that yours enjoys, give him a couple here and there. THAT would be the ultimate treat!!!

I've fed my oscars freeze dried brine shrimp in the past and they have done well on it, but it's alot easier to feed them pelleted food if they are larger than about 4 inches in size. The pelleted food stays on the surface of the water and if they don't eat it all, it's easy to remove the uneaten pellets.

Yes FD Brine Shrimp is an excellent supplement to your Oscars diet. An added benefit to FD Brine Shrimp is that Brine Shrimp is a natural laxative and will help with proper digestive function. The down side is that it is not high in some amino acids needed for growth, but this is not a problem in a balanced diet.

brine shrimp are tiny and oscars being messy eaters- there will be a mess left behind. If you can clean your filters and tank regularly, brine shrimp can be a good variation in diet.
Do not use feeder goldfish though. They have no nutritional value and only bring deseases to the tank in the long run.

My Oscar loves gold fish. We also feed him bait shrimp. Although he prefers the gold fish. He likes the chase.

Yea. Make sure you don't over feed him those (cloudy water) and use them with the flakes. They sort of need both for proper nutrition. Blood worms are good too.
