Your cell phone number can be released to telemarketers if you use your cell phone number as a phone number for contact when you sign up for anything. You should just go ahead and register your cell phone number on the do not call registrar also.

i got like three calls from telemarketers on my cell phone so i guess so. If it really bothers you register on the list, i don't think it really helps though

So far it is illegal for a telemarketer to call your cell. Bill collectors on the other hand...

They are not being released. You do not need to call. That is an email hoax. One of many, just delete it and dont forward warming like that. Only you can forward "The Sky if falling, It hit me on the head" that is the only email that make sense. SMILE
