try going to the local music shops instead, most have a bulletin board, state what positions you are looking for your age and what bands you are trying to emulate and leave your phone numbers
here's the important part jam with them for a while before you decide to include them, you'd be surprised how many can sound awesome at first then after a few sessions you see how limited there abilities and personalities are

Your best bet would be to go into a local music store and look at the bulletin.Most of them have a huge corkboard in the entry/foyer area with want ads for guitarists,drummers,vocalists,etc.
