I had a good friend ...well i thought she was till her birthday.. when we got her a car stereo and a watch, she took them then turned nasty 2 days later and after my husband fixed her car!! And didn't want to be friends no more!! No reason was given nothing just pure nastyness has been aimed at me which really hurts and we have no reason why,I have new friends now but don't want to make the same mistake again and be walked over...

Hi

Some people can be very nasty, i dont think you can judge everyone by this experience as i think your not showing people your true self that way. I think you just have to cross your fingers and put it down to experience, any true friend will love you for what you are not what you can give them.

Hope this helps.

After your friend was horrible to you it now seems hard to trust people again. We have all gone through moments like this. You just have to remember that everyone in the world isn't like your old friend, but everyone isn't nice either. The only thing you can do is chance it. You might come out with a good friend or you mighn't. The only way you can find out is if you chance it. If you don't you have lost a friend that could have been fantastic. I hope you make a sensible and wise decision, Good Luck. C.

i think she don't deserve a friend like u, it's difficult to find real friends but i believe u no who is ur real friend only when u have problems, trust me, that can no lie, because friends r there for the best and worst. use ur instinct, take time, there are still good people outside here. hope this will help. good luck.

Sounds like she wasn't a nice person - so be glad she is out of your life now.

No advice on who to trust - its hard. I just use my gut instinct (but not always right!). I think if you have the same humour as someone, then its a good sign!

Trusting new friends is getting to know her/him first better.
