Just accept that fact.
It' because of that fact ,that your mother is having an affair,
Maybe they decided to stay together for your sake.
I think that they will separate when you are on yourself.
It leaves you with a set of parents:no more no less.

It leaves you with two parents that still love you, which will never change. Depending on your age, you will learn more about it in the future. Do not be pulled into taking sides (if that is the case), love both of them as you always did. Divorce is divorce, no matter the outside circumstances. You have a long journey ahead, one I have faced myself. You will be fine. May not seem it now, but you will.

Depending on how old you are, I would say, you should be thinking of moving out as soon as possible after your 20th birthday.
The example of life you are receiving from your parents is negative, and should shake it of.
"Modernity" has its good and bad aspects. Which is which is evident.
