how do you elimate old email addresses when forwarding email through AOL?

When I send email through AOL, all the old addresses are attached, is there a way to elimate them to protect the privacy of those friends?

Just copy the content of the e-mail and put it in a new e-mail. No one likes to get lots and lots of headers anyway!
