You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

Yes it will revert back to IE6, although I have IE7 and have no problems what so ever, It's been a dream to use. with the added bonus of safer web browsing, mind you IE6 was removed totally from the computer first so there was no conflicting old and new components, you could do the same, leave your updates on your computer but remove IE6 then install IE7 from fresh. good luck

go into control panel and add, remove programs. tick the box at the top to see updates. ie7 will then appear for you to remove. if you do accidentally delete internet explorer completely you can reinstall it from the same screen.

down the left side of the add, remove programs screen is an option to change windows components. select that and scroll down to internet explorer. untick and click ok, that'll completely remove it. then go back ina dn tick it to reinstall it completely. this works well if you get a virus attached to internet explorer as it removes all components and reinstalls a fresh version.

good luck

yes, and something a lot of people don,t know.
Before someone with IE7, tries to do a repair, they need to
uninstall IE7, because when it reverts back, there will be major
problems. I dont have the link handy to read, but its on
microsoft help site.

when I removed IE7 from my computer IE6 was not there. You may want to put some other type of browser on your computer before trying to remove IE7, just in case. I did not do this and basically went through alot of crap to get IE back onto my computer.

If you remove IE7 from your Add and Remove Programs list, IE6 will be back there as your browser.

LOL at the moron who said Microsoft are criminals...what an idiot.

Firefox is nowhere near as good as IE 7. Why would you want to get rid of it?

go to control panel, add/remove programs, and find IE7...you should be able to "uninstall update" and that will revert back to your previous version!
