Coach is much pricier than Dooney. Personally, I like a number of Desgings, especially for toes from Dooney. You can get a really nice bag for the fraction of Coach. I own both types and I must say that my Coach has seemed to remain in the condition I bought it in. Coach is a bit more classy, Dooney can be trendy.

I love both.. I have a coach that i use for everyday when I switch to that purse... I have a dooney and burke but it's to small to use for everyday. But I like both brands...I really want a juicey couture purse.

My girlfriend got one of each for Xmas and was psyched. The Coach was way more expensive ($425 compared to $150 for the Dooney) so I think she was more excited about that. Plus they are more classic looking so she'll use it forever. But her Dooney is in her fave color, pink. So yeah, they're both cool I guess.

Both status symbols and ridicoulously overpriced.
My department store purse is cute, stylish and holds all my stuff just fine.
I guess it just depends were you like to spend your money.
BTW - I found a Coach purse from a resale store for $10. It's an older style and it has the Coach stamp on the inside. I guess when someone gets sick of them, that's where they end up!

I have a Dooney and I absolutely LOVE it!!! It's the perfect size. Also, Dooney looks more for the young, fresh, and fun girl. Coach, to me, seems more for the sophisticated, cool woman. You know? Just my two cents.

I have a Coach purse that I like very much. The leather is so soft. I use it for special occassions. My mom only uses Coach purses for everyday. Don't know anything about the other brand, sorry.

i love coach purses. they will fix them for you for free for as long as you own the purse. You just pay $20 shipping and handling. They come back good as new. They are super durable and go with everything any day. i don't buy them for evening wear.

I think they're pretty plain and not worth all the money spent on them. I think the main reason girls get them is to use them as a status symbol.
" I can spend $150 on a purse, can you?"

Pretentious, overpriced and made from leather that would no doubt have made some cow happy to have kept on his own back, not on a purse trying to show how much money a person has...
