THE RACES HAVE BEEN COMBINING FOR YEARS, CENTURY'S. PEOPLE OF COLOR ARE THE MAJORITY ALREADY IN THE WORLD, AND YES, THAT NUMBER IS INCREASING. REGARDLESS, IF YOU CAN LOVE THE HEART IT WILL NOT MATTER. WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD PERSON IS THE CONTENT OF YOUR CHARACTER, NOT THE CONTENT OF WHAT YOU CARRY. GOD MADE ALL OF US, WE ALL ARE OF HIM. WHO KNOWS WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE. HE IS POSSIBLY THE "MIX" OF US ALL. WITH GOD'S LOVE, DOES IT REALLY MATTER????

Well you could argue that things are actually going the other way. If you arent a creationist then you at least pay lip service to the concept that Africa is the cradle of human life and we are all African.

Our physical characteristics and skin pigmants changed over time as a result of our environments. Whilst there is less stigma attached to race these days there are still huge areas where certain ethic groups are unlikely to be significantly diluted. Scandanavia is unlikely to become a mulatto race any time soon, and Niger or Chad is unlikely to become fair haired and blue eyed.

The Japanese still have massive issues regarding inter race relationships and the Chinese and Indians have such huge populations they too wont mix any time soon.

So if its going to take thousands of years for the current ethnic groups to morph into something else then I would say its perfectly reasonable to assume that other ethicities will emerge (Asians from the Pacific Northwest, Latinos from the American South West etc etc).

I think the best answer to racism is to educate our kids that such attitdues are unaceptable and repugnant and to continue to reinforce that message when each of us is confronted with it no matter in what form (a Micheal Richards rant or a Chris Rock joke about breakfast cereal called N****r Please).

Although, I for one wouldnt have issues if we were all the same race.

It will take a lot longer than 10 years. Perhaps some change in 50 or 100. But it will take many generations for you to really notice. But there will always be separate races. There are many who will not mix.

the races are beginning to combine..... Yes
In the next 10 year everyone will be mixed....No

This will be a slow process..... probally closer to 100 years for the majority of people to be of mixed race.

I'm sure it will happen at some point, but I don't think it will be in ten years. May be in 200 years there will be a lot of mixed people and in 2000 years (assuming people don't kill each other by then) there may not be any races at all.

actually, over 90% of each race marries someone within their own race. (and has children within their own race). and look how long it took to get just 5% max of people to consider marrying outside their own race and having children. I really don't think 10 years is going to do it. However, the next two generations (in America at least) might make it a mission to marry outside of their race, which will expedite the process (they're much more global than my generation is). but not ten years, no.

I don't really think everyone will me mixed in the next 10 years. In the city that I live in, it's probably 2% hispanic, 1% african american, and 97% white. I would think it would take about 50-100 years before that happens.

eventually it is destined to happen. But it will be a lot longer than 10 yrs. It would take several more generations, we have children now that still won't be old enough to have their own children in 10 yrs and that doesn't change the fact that they aren't of mixed race. So in several generations sure. But it won't happen in my life time.

Ten years?! That's a lot of interracial relationships that need to start right now.... But I agree too, within the next 1,000 - 10,000 years humans will probably merge into one common race. It seems it would be beneficial to them because it would eliminate racism and hopefully the combination of genetics would yield the best possible humans.

I think it was on a Sally Jessy Raphael show, where a woman said, there are beautiful white babies and beautiful black babies, but the most beautiful babies are the mixed race. I thought, if that were the case, it would rule out racism.

It amazes me, if we were ever under attack from an 'alien' race, we'd all be humans together then - and we should live as such now.

Yes. But I think it will take a lot longer than 10 years. Shame. This would solve 99% of the worlds problems. There was a book written some years ago stating that this would happen and we would be called the Race of Tan. I hope I will be alive to see this, but saddly I don't think I will.
Good question
