doing the right thing takes some courage most of the time. The small baby that is saved from losing it's mother will thank you.

because either they think someone else will come along and help or they don't care what happens to people. I for one would try to report drunk driving as often as possible because those people could cause an accident and maybe kill someone by their foolish mistake. by the way what does toke mean???

Most people do report such behaviors to the police by business or cell phones. There may be a lot of offenders out driving and not enough police to resppond to every call, the police are doing their best to provide protection and freedom for the good people of their cities.

On a moral level, I say "Right On"! My concern is that we turn our society into one of a 'whistle blowing' state. This could have horrific implications if taken too far...ie. McCarthyism.
