What I foe see, You'll find more people tring to find a spiritual connection this year. Those that can not will try to find some one that can expain the reasons behind what's happening. Our busy life styles will force some of us to stop and wonder where our life is really going. Nobody will really trust politics this coming year. We will be looking for lies, and broken promises. More jobs seems to be opening about mid year. Almost like the seventies where you start a job and just leave to go to another one.This is mostly for the younger generation. The older folks will struggle to keep what they have even through poor health.
The negitive apart , we will see and hear of more illness then ever before. It will seem as if some one if not every one knows someone that get sick, not just the flu or cold neither.
Goble, attention will be on the state of our planet. Why are thing happen all over.

2007--from the Astrology point of view--is globally the end of a 12 year karmic cycle that happens to coincide with the begining of a new luck cycle.

By the end of 2008 we should be looking at a whole new geopolitical and spiritual landscape if you believe this stuff. Since Pluto is moving into Capricorn (worldly, practical earth symbol) from Sagittarius (capricous, spiritual, fire), global consciousness may shift more toward what is practical in 2008. 2007 is about resolving the problems we understood in 2006 for most of us, and 2008 is what emerges from that process.

2008 coincides with the US Presidential Elections, so I expect a shift toward more moderate views (the extremes being out of fashion for the next decade).

That's about my best guess using a little intuition and some basic astrology:)

I should add, Pluto transformations can be slow, and the next one is about 12 years long, so this shift in conciousness and movement toward moderate, practical views is likely to be a slow thing. Also note that Sautrn in Virgo until the 2009 is going to be all about analyze & synthesize while all the rapidly changing Uranus energy is in emotional Pisces until 2011, so underground emotions, fears and insecurities will still be at work until 2011.

I rather suspect those prognosticating that we'll withdraw from Iraq within the year are wrong. The next President will not want to appear weak. Nixon was elected in 1968 on the promise to end the Vietnam war, and it was 7 years before we left. Similiarly, the same emotions and mass hysteria that led us into Iraq linger about until 2011, so even though this appears to be the waning year of extreme views, things take time to work themselves out.
