Well Van Nistelrooy came 2 r school while i was there, Sirs Matt Busby and Alex Fergouson were there while my brother was there n Eric Cantona was there. All three are very nice people, n ive also met Van Nistelrooy in Hale Greggs. Roy Keane was at one of our school masses while he was at Man United, cos it was his local church, and ive also met teddy sherringham in hmv in the trafford centre.

Yep, mostly Utd past and present players. Roy Keane sticks out as the most intimidating. Good bloke though. Bryan Robson, dont know how the guy gets a managers job, wasnt sure how many 0's in £10,000, had to ask advice! I suppose if u have loads a dosh what does a digit do. Nicest man on the planet Frank Stapleton. Down to earth and a pleasure to talk to. Paddy Crerand - the exact opposite.

Actually, quite a few... met David James. The guy is a good bloke, and even if he wasn't you'd say he was coz he is HUGE!!
Met Brad Friedal and Tim Howard as well, they were in the Trafford Centre one night. Tim Howard stopped the revolving doors and made my mate walk into the glass separator... funny at the time. My mate turned round to have a go but becasue he was a United fan apologised instead, wasn't even his fault.
Saw Peter Reid in Sovereign on the Lowry Centre in Salford... he is a lot smaller than I thought...
Bumped into (literally) Barthez's missus on Market Street, Manchester, just stared at her t*ts and said sorry... Fabian didn't look impressed.
Stood on Solksjaers good foot in Hope hospital... again just apologised. He didn't look impressed either. Never seen a 6'2" paperboy before....

Manu came to Tampa to play the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Marsh was on the team at the time. Before the match one of the local department stores had a meet and greet with some of the Manchester united players. Jimmy Greenhoff and Steve Coppell.
I asked Mr. Coppell when he has started to play soccer and I remember expecting an answer like 9 years or something like that. Well he just held out his hand to indicate that he started when he was very very small and he could not give me actual date or age. I got an autograph that day. And I just hung out and talk and listened. The Rowdies won the next day. One of the few international matches they won. Manu had just started training and the Rowdies were match fit.
For a few years the college championships were held in Tampa at the old Tampa stadium. My coach worked for one of the sponsors so my team got to work the championship help to hold clinics and stuff. So I got to meet some to the Rowdies players Derek Smethurst, John Gorman, Steve Wegerle. STeve was very serious about the clinics and when it was my turn to help with one of the demonstrations he looked me staight in the eye with a very stern face and told me how important that when the ball came to me during the drill that I give good service. And I did not dissapoint Mr. Wegerle. Later on I had to defend against him in another drill and I could think about was" I am marking Steve Wegerle, on of the dest dribblers in the league. Gorman told me that I was dong a good job. That went in my mind over and over. Mr Smethurst was impressed that I know on of the players that causally walked by. We also agreed that the papers in Tampa were Crap.

Yes, I went to a wedding a few months ago in a very posh private members club in London and met Gael Clichy of Arsenal. He had his foot in a sort of white overshoe thing because of an injury. He was sitting in the lounge with another Arsenal player (don't follow football, so don't know his name) writing notes for his wedding speech as - I presume - best man. The bride was my daughter's best friend. He gave me his autograph and I took a picture. PS Clichy's wife is stunning. Got a piccy of her as well.

I work in a manchester city centre retail store and ive met Paul Scholes who was extremely shy to the people who said 'hello' to him. David Beckham used to come in a lot before his move to Spain and he too was extremely pleasant and down to earth, he had no minders or anybody with him even though he usually had 1 of his sons in tow. Victoria Beckham was the opposite, she had 3 minders with her, never smiled and never said 'hello'.
