This sounds kinda crazy, but does anyone have any advice on how to develop physic ability? I want to be able to see my mother who passed away twelve years ago. I know she is around, but I don't think I am aware of it. Is there anything to read or study? Specifics please...and only from personal experience

I know there are a million books out there. Most of which I am sure are just scam artists trying to get your money. I need to know which ones are worth the money

There are ways other than psychic ability. Try recording with a tape or digital recorder and ask questions. Talk to her and with any luck you will get an answer. I collect evp (electronic voice phenomena) and have recorded hundred of voices. You can't hear it at the time it is recorded but only on playback. GOOD LUCK

Allie, there are certain definite ways to develop your psychic ability depending upon various factors including your emotional health , belief in faith (I did not use the terminology "religion"), the price you are willing to pay etc. Yes there is always a price one has to pay for everything. Again there are levels of achieving psychic ability.
So my questions to you are:
1. How can you be sure that you would be able to reach the level where you could make a contact with her?
2. What if your mother doesn't want to communicate with you?
3. Most important of all, how would you be able to control your own abilities in normal daily life? Remember, everything changes once you are at a different level from others. And there are repurcussions also.
The development of psychic powers without a true teacher is a sure recipe for disaster and madness. A knife in the hands of a surgeon is a life-saving thing but in the hand of a butcher life-taking. What is it in the hands of an unattended toddler?
Yes I have personal experiences and that is why it is my humble advice not to go in that direction the way you are sounding.

The best way to predict the future is to set a goal and then make it happen. Why ponder abilites we don't have, or abilities so minor that they can produce no real results? Concentrate on the abilities that you DO have! You don't need telekinesis; you can pick things up with your hands! Pretty neat ability, especially from a cat's point of view. You'll get more results from developing your intellectual abilities; those can lead you to anything! Leave the fantasy to Harry Potter.

most towns have an occult shop of some kind. What you need is to develop a string relationship with your spirit guides before you try talking to the dead. Take a class in guided meditation. Your instructor will be able to help you the rest of the way. Beware of those who want to do nothing but sell you books. Some book recommendations are fine. A guided mediation class should run at about $12-25 for an hour (at least) class.

First thing is to believe and let go of any fears, you have nothing without those. Try meditation, asking your mother for a sign, she has probably heard you and sending you signs already. You may not be able to see her in spirit form, but she can definitely send you signs, you'll just need to learn how to read them.

I personally do not believe in psychic ability. I believe that there are ways of contacting your ancestors (your mom is an ancestor). You should not however venture to do this yourself. There are doorways that are opened when contacting those that have passed and books aren't really going to tell you about that. You should contact a medium and let then help you reach your mother. Do not volunteer any secrets that you and your mom had together or any thing that is too personal because you would need this information to prove that the medium has really contacted your mother.
Don't be afraid to make them prove themselves to you. That is the only way you will know that they are legit.

You don't have to develop them for they are already there. But the hard part is re-awaking them for current use... And that can take a while......................... And no amount of studying will have any effect only you thru constant work can re-awaken what lies dormant inside of you........................

allie, if your mom wanted you to see her, she would show herself to you in one way or another. `she could show herself in a dream or in her astral form. i've been able to see ghosts for the past 18 years. if you want to know more, look me up. i can answer all your questions you have for me.

psychic ability is a scam. dont waste your time on it.
a lot of shady people will take your money to convince you they can talk to your dead relatives, but they are all fakes. remember your mom the best way you can, but dont fall for scams that prey on your emotions.
