Good question,and since WE are paying for it with taxes,shouldn't our taxes provide us with the same benefits???

Want to help make health care more affordable? Let's have some tax breaks to help us pay for it. For the uninsured, poor health means poverty. Tax breaks not only for individuals but for small businesses and big business. It only makes sense. Tax breaks that would directly help average taxpayers, not some pittance that we, Mr and Mrs. Average Middle Class worker, saw the last time. Good for people, good for business. Good for America.

because the vote in their own salaries and benefit packages, we would have the same if we couldd set our own wages and benefits who wouldnt however they have been exploiting the American People for so long they believe it to be a tradition

(They also get cost of living pay raises while they've refused to raise the minimum wage in this country for a decade.)
