Recently my ford aerostar van started pouring water from the weephole of the waterpump and all my oil was just disappearing leaving just foam on the dipstick...we drained what oil was in it and there was antifreeze in the oil so we figured it was a blown head but it it possible for antifreeze to leak into the oil due to a bad waterpump?

It is both. The water pouring from the weephole is a sign the waterpump went out on you. This probably caused the engine to overheat and blow the head gasket (if not crack the head as well.) Any time you have a blown head gasket you need to know what caused it to happen. A head gasket doesn't get blown for no reason, it is caused by overheating. Knowing what caused the overheating, in this case the water pump, is important because if you just fix the head gasket, it will happen again because you didn't fix the overheating problem.

Anti-freeze won't leak into the oil from the water pump..A old Chystler product that had a aluminum timing cover would leak anti-freeze into the oil when the (AF) cavitated through..U could have a Cracked Block-Cracked head-or Bad Head Gasket.U also could have a Rear Main or Oil sending unit etc. 2 cause the loss of oil-OR U could B burning the oil-Depends on if the REST of the engine is good.A sticking thermostat could cause all of these problems.etc.

Not usually. You probably have a head gasket problem. If its a high mileage van you may not have ruined the engine yet.
Coolant in the oil will destroy the bearings and other wear surfaces.
Was the engine noisy? Did you run it a long time with the problem.
About 90% of the time the engine is trashed. If the repair estimate is over $700, get a rebuilt engine or a used one.

Yes it is possible. The reason I say that is because if you had a bad water pump and your vehicle overheated that can bust a head gaske, crack a head, crack a block, or a combination. If yo have anyone of those then your antifreeze and oil will mix. So indirectly, yes. If it is only a bad waterpump and nothing cracked then it is not possible.

sounds like both? the weep hole is a sign the bushing on water pump shaft is wore out so a new pump or a rebuils is necessary. the foam in oil is worrisome!!head gasket first !hopefully not a ring or piston problem?? if you have an extremely high mileage van and can do so? dump it!!get another, cheaper in the long run??

I'm No expert, but it could also be a cracked block! Ooooh! Pessimism! My sister's old Chevy II ran about two years with a cracked block. (miracle!)
My mechanic friend changes the water pump automatically when he changes the toothed belt that passes over it, that the fit is good after.
