Ummm.... from a fellow insomniac who has had trouble sleeping on a regular basis since I can't remember when, something that is simple and easy to take is the over the counter medication, Benedryl. If you don't like using a alergy medicine, there are tons of other over the counter medications for sleeplessness. Also, a vitamin that helps is melatonin and maganese. And, you probably might do best to simply not try to sleep at all.... read a book, watch a movie, listen to music, play on the internet or something like that to take your mind off of your thoughts, which will help you relax. Good Luck falling asleep ...

Find you a sexy young man, fulfill both of your needs physically and then when you are done, wrap your arms around him and you will for sure be able to sleep better. Don't let this get old either. Do something different and exciting every time. Making love is the best way to run the remaining energy out of your body and mind at the end of a hectic day. Don't sleep around? Hey no problem. Find one partner that you love and are comfortable with and that shares your goals, don't deny everyone that comes your way. If you know 10 men, it's as easy to pick one as it is if you knew 100 men. Choose the best one that is single and is suited for your liking and give yourself to him. Do this selflessly and the sleeping problem will solve itself. But the most important thing to remember is, live for one another, not self, don't let things get old; spice it up, and don't make your standards so high that NO ONE can match them. We're human. We all have our faults, but even the most faultily of people are still lovable. In other words, I would suggest finding you a husband and let him take care of your stresses as you take care of his.

When you think of several things before bed time you tend to stay awake and then you find more things to think about, bills, relationships, memories and so on. You need to find something that you know really bores you a movie perhaps or a book and drink a galss of milk or eat a bowl of cereal (even when you are not hungry) then after you have done so get into the most comfortable postion that you find best for you and just relax. Usually you will tend to drift off into dreamland. Also you must turn off the computer lol for myself it can be very addicting. Just relax and focus on the book, movie, or whatever it is you are using to help you drift off. Good Luck.

You have a lot of things on your mind bride-to-be. You can try Ambian but do not start taking this routinely. Just now and then when your mind is really racing. Break the Ambian pills in half to make them last longer. It is a prescription drug.

Or try Sleepy Time Tea. It's very mild but safe.

I think that its the fact that your getting married, Is it really what you want? You should try in turn off the lights and telling your brain to rest. Everything you do triggers, your brain. And your only thinking because you allow yourself to do so. Sometimes it's good for you and other times it's not such a great thing. If that doesn't work, try a very Strong medicine, but that doesn't solve problems, confront the issue.

Usually lack of sleep is caused by over thinking, too much loaded with work, try to do some very light exercise before bed time and avoid over eating and driking alot of water before bed time. Have a shower with lukewarm water. Do some body stretching. Then you will definetely feel relaxed.

before you go to bed try reading a book and don't do things like watch TV or play violent videogames and give your mind a chance to wind down. If its serious enough you can visit your doctor and talk about you symptoms and discuss a treatment option that will give you the results.
