My husband is a die-hard Cowboy fan...makes me wanna puke!!! I, on the other hand, am a true Redskins fan and it kills him as bad as it does me for him to be a Cowboy fan...Its fun though, especially when they play each other...and especially when the Redskins kick the Cowboys butts...I love when that happens...we make smart remarks all during the game and when its over, we're back to normal...I LOVE IT!!!!....He seems to think that I'll convert one day to the Cowboys, but he is sooooooooo mistaken...

I'm a Steelers fan and I just lived with 3 Eagles fans for 2 years...normally this wouldn't be that big of a problem, but we lived in State College, PA, right in the middle....really the only place in the country where there is a huge Steelers-Eagles rivalry...I never hated the Eagles until I went to school there.

It was tough...sometimes it almost resulted in fists flying, but then we'd just drink and forget about it

Do not take it that serious. My bf hates my fav team the Eagles (he is a Bills fan). It's fun for X-Mas he got a bunch of Eagles stuff and I got some Bills stuff.
He was not to happy when we had to cancel out dinner plans for New Years Eve because we are going to the game....

Well, I have a best friend who is a fan of a rival basketball team of mine, and we just joke about it. We don't take it too seriously. It makes it more fun cuz we're always teasing each other about a loss or boasting of a win. Don't make it too personal.

By having a minor rivalry in your home. It can be fun. You just have to understand that sports is not the be all end all of the world, and stop placing so much emphasis on it in your life.

Sports aren't that important when it comes down to it. They shouldn't be the end or beginning of everything. Sometimes its fun to have a little bit of a rivalry in your household. Don't let it get too far though!

Well, I try not to watch the games with them. If this can't happen, I try and find out their teams and root against them, and also put it in their face when my team wins.
