Start wearing them around the house a week or two before you need to go out in them... It gets you used to them and breaks them in so they won't give you blisters

As the old expression goes, 'Practice makes Perfect.' Buy a pair and practice walking in them in your house, just a little a day if it hurts, and before you know it, it will feel normal. Look for heels that already have a cushion or some kind of padding in them, and ones that have a short heel like 1 or 2 inches, its easier on the feet. Good Luck!

It sounds like you need to try a larger pair. like 1/2 to one full size larger. Also, lower heels like a kitten style would be a great start. You could take any of them to a cobbler and ask him to put some extra rubber on the outside, bottom of the ball area. (that will add some cushion and prevent slipping and falling ,too) They do take time to get used to them. I usually break in a pair of new heels by doing my house work in them. Like the laundry and dishes plus a little vacuuming. that way you are home and can take them off when your feet start to hurt. The hurt feet will stop after a while. It's like with any new activity. Think about how long it took you to stop hurting after you started to do something repetitive like throwing a soft ball or swinging a tennis racket. The more you do it the less it bothers you.

Basically, you will just have to "kill" those muscles if you want to wear heels all the time. I saw a special about it on TV once, where they were taking a look at women who wore heels their whole lives...their feet were damaged and NOT pretty, and they were usually always in pain.
I like to wear them once and a great while, to dress up, but that's it! (They sure do make your legs look hot.) I rather like walking without pain! :)

start with small- heeled shoes.it's probly most important to "break them in"- walk around in them a little. the first time you wear heels, you're most likely going to get some little blisters. so start a week ahead, so you're used to walking and the blisters have heeled. so after that it's just second nature and you progress to higher heels.

wear them around the house for a few days before you wear them out somewhere. Also, get Dr. Scholls supports to put in them. And, the first few times you where them, choose to wear them when you won't be on your feet for a long time.

sneakers and flat shoes widen your feet and thats why you cant wear heels properly. try getting rid of the sneaker thing. wear sneakers only for sports. start wearing more heels and then youll get into them. just make sure they're not too tight, cuz then you might get red spots on the side of your feet.

Practice, Practice, practice. Wear them for a short time every day, increasing the time each day.

get used to 2-inch heels first... once you're used to it. upgrade to higher heels...
wearing 5-inch heels immediately without any "experience" can really hurt yr feet (ouch!)
gd luck!!!!
