as far as online capabilities are concerned, the xbox 360 blows the ps3 out of the water. the xbox 360, as well as many games for it, are designed for online play. the catch is that you have to pay $50 per year for an xbox live account. it seems a little pricey, but its worth every penny. microsoft tracks your account and keeps up with what games you play, matches up good games with other players. you can also keep up with your friend and play with them whenever you want, if they have an account. the 360 does not come with a wireless adaptor, but you can buy one for $100, which is still cheaper considering the $600 price tag on the ps3.

The Xbox 360 does not have built wireless online capabilities, but for under $99 you can buy the adapter or simple just run your cat 5 cable directly to the modem.
