When I am anxious, I sit in my beanbag, play nice relaxation music, burn some incense, light a candle and make sure I am not disturbed. this is purely my time. I close my eyes, and take a deep breath. I keep my mind as clear as possible and each time a thought comes into my mind, I send it to the universe. It takes some practise but when you do this each day, you will find that you reach a level of inner peace. Being anxious is a hard thing to deal with but take control and don't allow stress to rule your happiness. I wish you all the best and also suggest you take vitamin b. blessings to you

I have Bipolar Disorder so I take medicine to prevent me from feeling too anxious. However I still get anxious from time to time. When that happens, finding some place where I can be alone usually works for me.

Pray and repeat Bible verses. Just knowing that there is someone out there who is bigger than me and can protect me helps me not to feel so overwhelmed with anxiety. It's a cold, cruel world when you're going it alone.

Take a walk, smoke a cigarette if you smoke, call someone to chat, post a quesion on Yahoo to see if anyone else has any answers to this problem.

You just have to find what works for you.

Listen to some relaxing music and think about pleasant things. Then I breathe deep and say it is not going to be that bad. :)
