I am 20 years old and have never been pregnant before.
I have a usual 28 day cycle. I was suppose to start on December 14th.
Currently I had exprienced a very delayed period, almost 2 weeks. I didnt experience any period syptoms ( cramping, bloating) that I using have, about a week before starting.
I did, however, I was very sick to my stomach, not throwing up just nausious, to smells or the thought of certain foods. I was sore from head to toe and very tired. I had slight cramps , but mostly like tinges and not cramps ( I usually have mild to severe cramps with my periods)
With in the last few days I have had very light, brownish red flow. I have taken 2 pregnancy test, one the first day I was late and a week after ( both negative). I have read that sometimes women dont register on a preg test until 3 weeks late and some earlier.
My question is, is it possible that I may be pregnant and just havent showed up yet or that something maybe wrong?

Should I count the light brownish - red flow as a period? or as a pregnancy syptom?

Sounds like you might be prego! You should definitely wait a week, retest and if your symptoms don't go away and you have a BFN, go to the doctor!

I am 14 weeks pregnant and nauseous every day for about 6 hours or more after I wake up. The first trimester is always exhausting, your body requires a lot more sleep. I would wait until you miss another period, or call the doctor and get a blood test done. The blood test can pick up on the pregnancy hormone sooner than the urine tests can. The pregnancy hormone multiplies drastically in the beginning of pregnancy, so wait a week and use the first morning's urine for your test.

It is possible that you could be pregnant. It took me almost a month to register that I was pregnant. The first test came back negative and the second positive. I called my doctor and asked to come in for a blood test to make sure that I really was pregnant. So I would suggest if you think that you are, talk to your doctor about a blood test.

Good luck!

You may be pregnant. I know that it can sometimes be up to 6 weeks that it will not register. Just keep taking the test every week to make sure.

You could very well be pregnant. You should have a blood test to really confirm your suspicions. I was feeling queasy and i thought I had irritable bowel syndrome but then i took a test and BAM.........I was pregnant, know i have a beautiful four month old baby boy.

yes but if your period was due that long ago, you should be getting an accurate result now!! the brownish red could be implantation bleed ing which is very mild!!! call your dr and explain the situation!!

sounds like you need to go to the doctor and have them give you a blood test to see if you are. if you are not they will be able to find out why you are not getting your period. good luck.
