A little while ago Gwen Steffani (Or however you spell it) appeared on the T.V show T4 accompanied by six silent Geshia girls in traditional dress. These were not relevant to the interview for any reason and the interviewer didn't ask about them. They appeared to be just another fasion statement the likes of which Gwen is famous for.
Is using real people as a fasion accessory because you can afford to do so like this an example of excellent fasion sense or just vulgar?

I don't think it's unethical (because they got paid for it), but they did make Gwen look a bit sad. Remember when she appeared with a silent posse on Jonathan Ross and looked a right pretentious plonker especially when he was poking fun at them. You're right it is incredibly vulgar but the world would be a boring place if everyone had excellent taste! That's what most people want in their celebrities anyway, e.g. the little handbag dog trend.

the classic geisha weren't prostitutes. they had fanatics, yet they chosen who they wanted to bypass out with. a real geisha is frequently a geisha for existence. If she gets married, she retires. So sure, some geisha are **previous** yet they're virtuosos of their paintings, whether it somewhat is dance, shamisen, etc. I even have seen geisha dance on television many circumstances, and onstage that's in basic terms approximately impossible to tell how previous they're. Btw, that movie replaced into entire crap. AND it replaced into boring.

Erm, hello? These girls, i presume, went through the procedure of being interviewed and/or auditioned for the 'roles' they play being Gwen Stafani's fashion accessories.Nobody made them do it, and of course, its a job like any other, and they'll get paid a hell of a lot of money for dancing, and, erm, well doing not much else! Whose complaining? Definitely not the girls doing the 'job'!

I really don't think it matters. If she can afford to pay those girls to hang out with her, then that's her business. I really think the vulgarity comes from your mind in how you percieve those girls. Gwen Stefani has always been over the top and this is no exception. You need to stop being so consumed with what the celebrities are doing. Thank you.

She would likely be offended if I got six Sicilian (she's Sicilian-American I believe) troupe girls in full dress and veil and did the same...where does she get off using people as a fashion accessory? I actually liked her until I heard about this.

I think it might have been a bit of fun. Anyway, the girls presumably got paid a lot so who is exploiting who? It's not like they had to do anything.
