I was with my guy on November 27, and the condom was removed and replaced 3 times. Ive been feeling mild cramps for weeks, and I should have started my monthly on the 13th. My period has never been this late, and feeling these cramps when theres nothing coming out is very annoying. I know I should take an at home test, but they dont work well with members in my family. My sister took 12. All came out negative, and it turned out she was pregnant the whole time....I was thinking about waiting until the end of the month, but its been 38 days since the beginning of my last period. (I track it on mymonthlycycles.com) so what do you guys think? Any advice?

I'm guessing you're normally quite regular, huh? Could be either that you are indeed pregnant or you're stressing over it so much that you are delaying your period.
Go ahead and take a test. If it comes out negative and you still don't start your period, get to a doc as soon as you can and get checked out. It's best to know asap, isn't it?

Good luck. i hope you get the result you want!

Cramping still happens when you are pregnant, I had cramping in my first month. Every ones body is different though, go ahead take the test if it is negative and you still don't get your period then go get a blood test. It is better to know now then wait. There is a good possibility that you are pregnant. The timing is right with your ovulation. You also could be stressing and throw you period off. Best bet is to take the test and then see a doctor. If you are you need to get on prenatal vitamins ASAP.

Good luck with whatever outcome it is.

Well I can see that you are a Little upset that you did not get much help from the first time you ask. You have to realize that your asking questions that only a doctor can determine. The advice that I can give, you can get a Early pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant if it has been 38 days since your last period there is enough HGC in your system for the test to pick it up. If you are then you will then need to see a doctor for pre-natal care

First of all just because HPT didn't work for your sister, doesn't mean they won't for you. All an HPT does is detect the pregnancy hormone, that is it. Considering they are extremely cheap I don't understand why you haven't tried one yet, that makes no sense. Another option would be to go to your doctor or health clinic and have a blood test done. Either way you need to know if you are really pregnant so you can get the proper prenatal care. Quit beating around the bush and find out if you are pregnant!

Ok. First of all condoms are only meant to use once. So, I don't know why you would remove and replace it 3 times.

If you don't want to take a home test make an appointment with your primary care doctor or your OBGYN to take a blood test.

Just sitting at home waiting around for something that may never come is not going to do you any good.

It sounds like there is a good chance you could be pregnant, but I agree that you should take a pg test. Just because it didn't work for your sister doesn't mean it won't work for you. False negatives are always possible, so follow-up with a blood test. At any rate, you'll need to see a doctor because of your lack of a period. Good luck to you.

It's very possible that you could be pregnant. Best thing since those home test dont work well with your family is to go to the doctor and tell them your situation and they can give you a blood test. Also, if that shows neg and you ahvent started they can do a ultrasound to check your uterus for anything. Hope this helps.

My best advice to you is to go see a doctor. You may be pregnant; but then it could be something else. You don't want to keep waiting around and your condition get worse (if it's not pregnancy). A lot of things can cause missed periods and cramping; you really need to see someone.
