Where can i find a different kind of "high resolution" pictures which i can use for my designs?
I'm a graphic designer...
i want em to be 300 pixels/inch.

If you are willing to pay for them, there are lots of places. They can cost up to hundreds of dollars, though. For much lower cost royalty-free images, I like www.dreamstime.com and www.istockphoto.com.

All the above mentioned sites are great if you are working for a client that can afford to pay you well. But if you are needing to make a quick comp or have a cheap client or work for cheap employer, use www.webshots.com
95% of the images are free and have no copyright issues. It sometimes takes a while to find things but I have found usable (High Res.) images for many projects there.

check out http://www.istockphoto.com - the high resolution pictures are between $1 and $10 per picture - which is not very expensive. They have millions of pictures from profesional designers and photographers.

its better to try www.gettyimages.com i hope u wud be knowing this site i don't thing there would be a better portal to get it. But why don't u edit the photographs in photoshop i am also a designer and i am owning my business in printing and packaging industry. any type of probe u feel just mail me the photograph i cud edit to u and let me know if it help u or not
