You don't need an internet connection if you already have music on your computer, but you do have to have the iTunes software. If you don't have any music on your computer, enjoy your $250 paper weight.

dont listen to them all you do is put your cd's in the computer then open itunes or you can open windows media player and put rhe song in there remove the cd then transfer the songs vola

Firstly, in folder options, unhide all hidden folders and there should be folders on your iPod which should act like a USB drive. Go into what I think is the iPod Control folder and create folders called "FO01", "FO02" and so on if it is a nano or just one folder if it is a regular one. Then drag and drop or copy and paste the songs from your folder on your hard drive.
