Hi
Well you need to have itunes to download songs. Also try lime wire. You can download songs free from lime wire and put it in your itunes library. Then all you have to do is drag the song and drop it on the icon of your ipod on the left hand side!!

Well I assume you have internet connection if you're on this and iTunes is the only way to download into an iPod, MP3's are different but yes, you can't download anything without iTunes
