Will there be day when people drop religion and become atheists?

no never impossible there are too many believers in the world. Many religiouns are very devout like Islam...

People will always need something or someone to have faith in. Some believe that atheists will turn to a God of their choice one day. It doesn't necessarily have to be a religion, though.

What about humanists, they don't believe in any gods but they believe in the potential of humans. I am not religious but I am not an atheist.

I think there will always be at least a few who believe in a supreme being/supreme beings, spirits, blah blah blah blah blah.
