The only way to do it is to put a password on your computer and only allow them on the internet when you are in the room...There are programs that can reduce the amount of garbage kids can dig up, but they are based on keywords... some sights don't use any keywords at all but use codewords for what they are about. Also, some things are linked to "innocent" web pages... I have gone to sites for info on a video game and found half page pictures with links to adult sites. I have even done a google search for pictures using the word bear and gotten porno images along with the nature ones.

It's nearly impossible to block them from all porn sites, but there is a couple things you can do to make their experience a bit more of a pain to do so.

1) You can install commercial software to block them
http://www.k9webprotection.com/

2) You can tweak the cookie settings on your Internet Explorer

Go to Control Panel (or Tools at the top);
Select "internet options;"
Click "privacy;"
Select "advanced;"
Select "accept" for First Party cookies and "allow" for session cookies;
Select either "block" or "prompt" for Third Party cookies.

If you select "prompt," you will receive a notice whenever someone tries to attach an unwanted cookie to your computer and then you can block it. The blocked site will then be automatically recorded in "privacy" under "sites" where you can see how many are permanently eliminated.

3)This one is my favorite option, and I think it will be the easiest one for you to manage.....

17 years old, they will get around whatever you try to do.
Go find another fight to fight, you already lost this one.
I would worry more about them downloading songs, and
you getting sued by the RIAA, and MPAA.
