I found and typed in wep key for PSP but it says it's invalid what do I do next?

I've called Sony but they don't seem to be able to help me. I'm hoping you can help with some steps and advice.

You've put the key in wrong. Case matters, and don't mix up alpha 'O' with numeric '0'. My nephew set his up Christmas day and it's working fine with a WEP key.

Also, make sure that you select the correct encryption level -- either 64 bit or 128 bit. Get that wrong and even the correct key won't work.
