There are a few questions one must ask when this type of question comes up. First and foremost, why do you need a U.S. loan in USD? Secondly, what do you need the money for? Despite most of the other posts 200k is not a lot of money for an industrial loan. But it is a little bit heaver loan for an individual.

But lets assume you are “on the up and up” and you are not looking to scam anyone. Then it all comes back to question two; what is the money for. If it is personal I doubt you would be able to get it with out some major debt equity aka assets in the range of 250 – 500k to secure the loan with. Moreover you would also need to show a revenue stream (by way of income from a job) proving you can payback the loan. Of course if this were the case you would not be asking how to do this on yahoo, you would already know (having over 200k of assets in almost any African county is quite a feat for an individual).

This leads me to think you want to start some manufacturing business. Then your best bet is to start looking at banks and Venture Capitalist (people who will be able to take the risk of your investment) who Invest into Africa. Also you need to know the potential growth and Return on Investment before wasting you time with looking at either of these sources. I would say you need a market size of over 100 million a year to even have a Venture Capitalist look at you plans. For the bank you will need to show you can brake even fast (that is start making a profit) and show that you net profit will be able to pay back the loan and not cripple you cash flow.

If you are thinking about starting a bussines I can give you a more detailed view of what you need to do. If you are just looking for a “quick buck” then try writing an email letter starting out with: I AM MR.WAKINTA TRAORE,I WORK WITH THE BANK OF AFRICA (BOA) OUAGADOUGOU, BURKINA FASO IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING/AUDITING I HAVE A BUSINESS PROPOSAL WHICH WILL BE BENEFICIAL TO BOTH OF US

At a guess I would say, Marry a US Citizen, move to the US, get a good job, get a bank account, get a good credit status, apply for the loan and see what happens. Time scale? 5 or more years.

Is this some kind of joke, why don't you make it $2000,000,00 over 10 years, and then we might have a deal, send me your bank details, and I will send you a banker's draft pasted to the side of a pink pig.

Sorry Pier, your living in LaLa Land if you think any American bank is going to lend you 200k. Especially when you are in a third world country. There is absolutely no way this is going to happen.

you can look up some venture funding sites on the net. they do overseas funding but they invest in really profitable and very big projects. so if you have this you can probably get a loan but it is very difficult. goodluck.

You are kidding, right? If not I've got $200,000.00 that I will loan you. All you have to do is put up $5000.00 "good faith" money first and then I'll send it right out.
