Basically the person can assume your identity, run up huge credit card debt, apply for loans, get your birth certificate, a replacement social security card. Basically becomes a clone of you.

It's very damaging to a person's life. Takes years to fix and in the meantime you suffer for that persons behavior.

other things they can do is lease apartments, get cell phones, open utility accounts and really screw up your life.

If a criminal get your info from anywhere they can call and see if you're home and if you're not they can go break in your house to pillage it. Other than that they mostly can only order pizzas.

Eh, more likely he can just sell the info to advertising companies that will phone you and send you mail.
