how can i write to Gary Payton?

so my husband is the biggest Gary Payton fan ever!!! we even have a poster of him in our livingroom with a light shining on it. my husband is flying down to Seattle next month to see (what he thinks might be) Gary Paytons last game there. do you think it would be stupid to get try to write Gary Payton as a surprise and see if he will sign something for my wonderful man?

yeah he may sign it. I work on some Tv shows and i know that some of the stars get fan mail and somtimes write back but its no guarantee that they will. They get tones of request and simply dont have the time most of the time.
