I've heard from a lot of "intuitive" people that the baby's soul does not enter the body until they are born. I choose to believe that they go to heaven to be born again at some other point. Also, another post said Catholics believe they go to purgatory, that's not true, they go to limbo.

Their bodies shut down because there was a genetic problem or a problem development problem and then their parents hold fast to the love and hope they had and carry around that love for the rest of their lives.

I heard a wonderful poem once about children (babies) being angels sent from God (or whatever your religions equivalent is) and that they are called home because their job is complete. They have accomplished whatever their destiny said they needed to in order to move to a different plane of existance. I am not sure that I believe that, but it sure is comforting to think of it that way and a beautiful sentiment besides.

They go to Heaven. All children go to Heaven if they die. They can't be held accountable for their sins because they are too young.
If only we all stayed so innocent

Well, they have not yet reached the age of accountability so before that age, any child that passes away will go to heaven. I have one there now from a misscarriage.

They go to a beautiful place where they'll be peaceful and happy forever, but it wont be Heaven. Only baptized babies can get to Heaven, but the ones who die before they're able to be baptized go to this beautiful place. The sad thing is, they'll never get to be with God again.

Their soul or the body? Its just like when any loved one dies. The soul goes to heaven and the you have a burial for the body.

Well, I'm a Christian and I believe their souls go to heaven.
I also don't believe you have to be baptized to go to Heaven, God wants all of his children with him and if they were good on Earth and good towards others then he will welcome them with open arms. It is not our place to say that someone is not going to be with him because they never had blessed water over their physical bodies... God sees what we can not, he sees the inside and that's what matters.
