parlour game queen ann is dead?

does anyone know the origins of this game ? why Queen A nn?

For some reason "Queen Anne is dead." refers to old news. The Queen Anne refers to a queen of the Stuart Dynasty in Britain. Whether the phrase or the parlour game came first, I know not.
