Depends on how good of friends you two are. If she is your best friend or a close friend, then you never date her ex. If she is just a friend you say hi to in class or as you pass eachother on the street... then wait a few months.

I sent my shop-the-dates 5 months out, wedding ceremony invitations 3 months out. maximum of out travelers have been vacationing (and the marriage became Memorial Day weekend), so i mandatory to furnish loads of develop observe. My RSVP with the aid of date became one month in the past the marriage. maximum RSVP'd on time, yet I have been given some overdue. That became effective, because of the fact the caterer became versatile, the marriage became small, and we could have surely accelerated or decreased with the aid of 10-15 those with out issues.

Depends on your friend and how the relationship ended. If he/she cheated on your friend then I'd say never, but if they ended it well realizing that it wasn't working then tell your friend of your intentions. If they are a good friend of yours they may understand and be supportive, or you may find out more about your friend and potential love interest also.

There must be something wrong if your friend broke up with him/her. Don't allow yourself to be the next victim. Get to know him better before entering into any relationship. Friends are still jewels to be treasured.

I'd talk to your friend. Dating a friend's ex is usually a mistake.
