look , in general .... egyptian not so active in work or any important things , even though they are so active in useless or less important things , they may love to forget but dont forget ! and dont love or respect anyone that make them forget .
OUMKOLTHOUM was and still the greatest singer in all arab countries and one of famous international singers , it was said that the best time for Israel to make a strike and attack arab countries is during OUMKOLTHOUM party as all arabs is listhening to her in radios ...... so she didnt make egyptian or arabs forget as her party was considered a time of relaxation and calming ..... just feel the moment with her sound .
any way EGYPT is the country of unexpectable things , you should not surprised whatever happened or whatever you see , you can meet some lazy persons you will never met except in egypt , and you can find active persons you never imagined that they are existed some where .
egyptions in general are smart ppl. but they always wait to the last second and thats why they make miracles only after disasters.

No, it is most definitely NOT TRUE. How can you generalize like that? Most Egyptians I know are bright, open-minded people. Quit nagging at the Middle East and its people.

You know, every nation has its own traditions. And don't even think that it's strange. It can be, but it musn't be surprising for others.
So, I don't know whether it's true or not. Just all these things for me is NORMAL.
