Do I need to inform him things have changed since he moved to the U.S.A.? I asked him who was next to wear the crown and he told me Prince William.

The person I was talking to is named Chris. He was telling me that one of the kings left the Throne to marry a divorced woman. There would be no way for me to talk to Prince Charles.

Rubbish - Charles will inherit the throne when the Queen dies, and William will inherit it after him. As for those who claim that the Queen has said that she will disinherit Charles - she can't make that decision. Disinheriting him would require legislation. Though readers of The Enquirer might believe otherwise.

There have been doubts as to whether Charles will also be Head of the Church of England when he inherits - perhaps your friend is confusing the two?

The next to wear the crown will be Prince Charles upon the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince Charles is next in line for the throne, it's his birth right, no matter who he then chooses to marry. If he chooses to not take the throne it will then get passed down to William, seing he is next in line.

It doesn't matter. Prince Charles can still become king, whether is is 20 years or 2 years of him reigning. But, whatever. The only thing is that Camilla can not be queen.

There is nothing at all in British law that prevents him taking the throne because of his divorce.

When he takes the throne, he will also become the head of the Church of England. This church formerly refused to perform a church wedding ceremony for a couple if one of them had been divorced.

Ignorant people seem to think that Charles' divorce therefore prevents him becoming head of this Church - which is completely untrue - and that if he cannot be the head of this Church, he cannot be the King either - which is also completely untrue.

Other ignorant people know that in 1936, King Edward VIII abdicated so that he could marry the divorcee Wallis Simpson, and therefore think that there cannot be a King married to a divorcee. This is not true either.

Charles is still next in line to the throne. Being divorced doesn't remove you from the line of succession.

He can simply by fact he's royalty, and could do what he chooses. Of couse, if the queen had stated he can not proceed to be inheritor and marry camilla, then the story may well be diverse, however the queen universal it. honestly, maximum brits didnt look to care one way or yet another that charles and camilla married, simply by fact the monarchy doesnt truly do this lots besides. besides, the queen looks possibly to hold close-on for a protracted time to come again, so if charles does get a wager to be king, it truly is going to likely be for a pair of week at tops till he passes on too. Re: the princess di element, it variety of feels the queen did no longer like diana for a protracted time.... study the gossip. Of couse, who're we random human beings to appreciate what truly is going on in royal circles, yet, who cares? different than in the journey that your interpreting this maaam. i urge your pardon your highness for any misspoken words. consistently you humble project. n

As the Queen is the Head of the Church of England, it would probably be permissable for Charles to become King.

As far as the person asking the question, most likely she has not spoken to Charles, but is referring to speaking to her English friend who moved here!!
