I assume that you are talking about a cd
These small discs work like any other as the players read from the inside.
They should fit onto the spindle of a normal laptop type cd tray, whilst many tray loading cd players have a recess for these smaller dips
However, I'm not so sure about a slot loading player, like in a car

Is it a small CD ROM? If so, it goes in the centre of the standard CD drive. There should be a smaller indent in the tray to take it.
I've seen CDs shaped like all sorts of things but as long as you line up the centre hole it should work fine.

CD tracks play from the interior outwards, so see you later as you may positioned the three" disk interior the participant that's going to artwork. Tray drives frequently have a three" recess interior the midst of the tray, and gamers the position you positioned the disk on a hub of course don't have any difficulty.

if it doesnt fit at all, you might be able to by a case that you put the 3 inch in and then put that into the normal cd drive size... like what they use for video recorders which have small tapes, and they put it in larger cases so it will play

Just put it in your drive. The drive should figure it out for you.
