i was given a very special present made from i think either bloodstone or green tiger eye crystal, but i dropped it and it broke in half. my friend will want to see it soon and i dont want her to know anything is wrong with it!! i ve heard that you can not repair crystals with super glue because of their molecular structure, does anyone know if it is possible to repair them another way.

With some amazing scientific reaction im sure you could! but you can always just tell her you dropped as some crystals have a tendancy of being weak to their molecular structure! just tell her the truth she will probably respect you more anyway

Tigers eye , jade and blood stones are not considerably costly. Though technically it can be done by gemmologyst.Please tell her frankly what has happened. And please inform her that any genuine stone when droped accidentally or intentionally will break and it is auspicious. Any genuine stone consists a flaw is a belief. Tell that the density of the stone you are given is more and it is genuine and breaking it accidentally is an auspicious thing.

I have a friend in the jewelry business; and steve recommends the use of five minute epoxy for gluing crystals to posts, etc.
His recommendation is the better abd more completely you mix the two chemicals; the stronger the hold is.
Another friend who makes jewlry recommends the use of E-6000. She recommends E-6000 because sometimes she does not mix the epoxy sufficiently and the bond is not as strong as it should be.
