As long as he can still put out the forest fires and speak about fire saftey I say let him stay in the job. Have you seen the retirement plan bears have to put up with? It's awful for goodness sake!

The same would apply to Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Donald Dug, Popeye and even Barbie the doll and so many more....! What would the children do? These characters will remain immortal as long as there are children.
