I don't even close it when I am not home alone LOL I have to know people VERY well to have them in my home though so it is usually just mom.

If I'm using the potty, yes. I don't know why, but I do.
If I'm taking a shower, no. We live kinda in the country and it creeps me out to take one when I'm home alone.
